Where does the time go? Here it is August 5th and it’s been a few days since my last Blog, sorry for the delay.
The past few days have been excellent up here, the weather has been beautiful and all the trips are out, hopefully enjoying this blast of sun and heat. Our Juniors (two week juniors) returned from a super 4-day canoe trip. They now along with the one-week Juniors who arrived on Sunday are off for their overnight tonight. They are a great group and very excited to go.
Wednesday and Thursday this week marks the return of all of the two week campers from their respective trips. Both groups of Temagami’s and the Juniors paddle under the bridge tomorrow morning and on Thursday both two-week Coureur de Bois, the two-week Pioneers and the River Adventures return. On Friday our month-long Coureur de Bois have a short shuttle bridging the gap between the Sturgeon River and Lake Nippissing.
Thursday we will wind down with a Square Dance in the evening and then follow that up with Regatta on Friday afternoon, awards and trip skits will follow that evening. It should be a great couple of days here – lots of excitement when all trips return. Campers leave Saturday morning and Session 4 begins on Sunday.
